Flahertiana-2015 calls for entries

As stated on the Festival's web-site, the Selection Comision is looking for documentaries “that develop the cinematography aesthetics” - the approach that was first introduced by Robert Flaherty. The Festival celebrates documentaries that show the life as it is: "the films of Flahertiana are bringing up feelings. Some films are spiritually extreme experience; they demand endurance just as a deep diving does. But who says it is easy to sense reality and to learn how to live?” 

The Festival will take place in Perm, Russia between 18 and 24 of September, 2015. The president of the competition screening is a film director Pavel Pechenkin.
