Two Russian films will be presented at the 11th International Documentary Film Festival ZagrebDox in Zagreb, Croatia. 

The 11th edition of the International Documentary Film festival ZagrebDox takes place from 22 February to 1 March at Zagreb’s Cineplexx Kaptol Centre. In the past ten years ZagrebDox has been visited by over 200,000 viewers, and about 2,000 screenings showed more than 1,500 films. With approximately 150 films in 16 programme sections, exciting programme novelties bringing the documentary experience even more intensely to the audience and large number of filmmakers and professionals from across the world, the Festival enters its second decade.


Full length documentary "Kamchtka - the Cure for Hatred” directed by Yulia Mironova is participating in the international programme. The film tells a story of a former war journalist who’s now resigning in Kamchatka. 


“Kamchatka - the Cure for Hatred” tells a story of a former TV journalist Vyacheslav Nemyshev, who had been covering wars and conflicts for years including the Chechen War, and then run away and settled in Kamchatka.

And another Russian director Sergey Gavrilov is participating in a pitching session. He pitches his documentary project called “Another Adventure”. "The film follows Joy Annabelle Womack, a California-born ballerina, pursuing her dream to dance at the Bolshoi Theatre.”
