“Kamchatka - the Cure for Hatred” tells a story of a former TV journalist Vyacheslav Nemyshev, who had been covering wars and conflicts for years including the Chechen War, and then run away and settled in Kamchatka.  

Synopsis

“Kamchatka - the Cure for Hatred” tells a story of a former TV journalist Vyacheslav Nemyshev, who had been covering wars and conflicts for years including the Chechen War. After having been there almost 30 times, the journalist couldn’t adapt to a normal life and suddenly left to Kamchatka. For two years he was filming himself and his new living experience. Through this "experiment on himself" he wanted to find out how to get rid of the horrible memories of the war.
