Synopsis

The main character of the film is a 72-year-old reindeer herder Vukvukai. This old and wise man resides  in the most remote parts of Chukotka where he can’t be set apart from his deers. His team herds up to 14 000 deers. Every day these people struggle to survive. However, the ancient culture of reindeer herders protects these men from difficult times and harsh weather. As long as they have this culture, the world stays the same - this is what Valvukai believes in.
