Our village has always been a place of exile, a land of prisoners.
Once in the winter, on the edge of the village we found an old man in an old car.
He was freezing. He had nothing and was from nowhere.
Now he lives in the cellar of our church.
Step by step we get to know his story…

О режиссёре Anna Shishova:Anna Shishova was born in Moscow in 1986. In 2008 graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (historical faculty). In 2013 graduated from VGIK, All-Russian State University of Cinematography named after S.A. Gerasimov, with documentary and TV director specialization (the workshop of Sergey Miroshnichenko).
From 2012 to 2013 Anna participated in exchanging program between VGIK (All-Russian State University of Cinematography) and SADA (Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts, Sweden).
She worked as a documentary director on the Ostrov Studio, studio Nashe Kino, studio Center of National Film.
Anna’s documentary films were shown in many different countries in various film festivals, such as American Documentary Film Festival (USA, CA), PUFF Film Festival (China, Hong Kong), Ethnocineca Film Festival (Austria, Vienna), Queens World Film Festival (USA, NY), Krakow Film Festival (Poland, Krakow) and others.
