For decades, filmmakers Herz Frank and Maria Kravchenko have been chasing the complicated story of Yigal Amir, Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin's assassin. Since being incarcerated, Amir has found love with a woman, who divorced her husband so they could be together, and now has a child. Today, Amir's morality is intimately revealed through bedtime stories he shares with his son over the phone from jail. Holy tales about the miracle messiah and a man who slept for 70 years that relate directly to his personal life, and raise incredibly unexpected oppositions: biblical / tabloid, providence / politics and propaganda / publicity. A riveting highbrow meets lowbrow parable that blends romance and religion, crime and consequence, murder and life's eternal mysteries.

Born in Grozny city, Chechenian republic in 1981. When I was three years old, my family moved to Western Siberia. First degree in journalism, State Saratov University (1999-2004). In 2004 I came to Moscow, worked in TV and press, and was enrolled in VGIK (All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography) documentary department, class of S.V. Miroshnichenko, - respected figure in Russian culture, secretary of Cinematorgaphy Union of Russia, winner of «Emmy», «Teffy», «Nika» and other internationaly recognized awards. Currently living and working in Israel. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 2012 - working on a new film «On the Edge of Fear» (80 min). 2012 - Director of documentary film «Remember us... young» (60 min)/ 'White River Film'. 2009-2012 - working on a documentary film «Live a full Life» (52 min)/Financed by Ministry of Culture and Cinema of Russia / 'White River Film'. 2006-2009 - Director on the Film Studio ‘Ostrov’ , Pervoe Kino studio. 2010 - Director of documentary film «The Great Waltz» /'Alexfilm' studio. 2010 - Director of documentary film «The case of judges» /'Alexfilm' studio. 2009 - 2010 - Director of documentary film «Sherlok Holms and D'r Vatson.
