“Golden Kapok Award” is two years old that its influence is increasing in the field and society. In 2012, it was launched by GZDOC with intention to become an authoritative and symbolic award for the documentary.
This year, GZDOC has received 705 films to complete for excellence rating, including 309 domestic and 396 foreign films. At the Festival, the Organizing Committee has intensified cooperation with national mainstream media and institutions and invited Documentary Film Working Committee of China Radio and Television Associationas the supporting academic authority to lead program appraisal work.
This documentary follows the story of a mother's love: from an empty heart to a tragedy that has changed her, to creation and love, from rejecting her own son to adopting someone else's child and accepting him as her own.
