June, 22 - Day of Documentary Projects at Moscow Business Square, the main business event of Moscow International Film Festival

Day of Documentary Projects is a joint initiative of Moscow Business Square and Russian Documentary Guild. The event was held in 2013 for the first time and attracted more than 120 Russian specialists in the field of documentary film. The main goal of the Day is to represent the best international practices, to discuss current issues and changes in the development of documentary film industry in Russia, as well as to introduce perspective Russian documentary projects to international experts.

PROGRAM OF THE DAY:

10:30-11:45 

DOCUMENTARY CONTENT PREFERRED BY THE EUROPEAN TV CHANNELS 
Round-table with representatives of the European TV-channels, sales agents and distributors. 

12:00-14:30 
PRESENTATION OF RUSSIAN DOCUMENTARY PROJECTS AT POST-PRODUCTION STAGE AND CROSS-MEDIA PROJECTS 
With comments of festival programmers, distributor and sales agents 

Workshop according to «Farewell Comrades» project will be held after the presentation

17:00-20:00 
Award ceremony for the best Russian project (sponsored by Canon) 
Presentation of RGDoc portal and other projects of Russian Documentary Guild 
Workshop Recent changes in Russian legislation in the field of cinema: how they affect the production and distribution of documentary films?
