The feature-length film "Cinetrain: Russian Winter" received the Audience Award.
The documentary project “Cinetrain: Russian Winter” was presented at the most prestigious film festival “Vision du Reel”. Also the feature-length film received the Audience Award.

The producer of the documentary project Tatiana Petrick: “The viewers were choosing the winners in each category, and we are very excited that they have chosen our film. The film was shown twice, and both times the cinema was full”.

The film has six parts - each part is a separate story that focused on different Russian stereotypes. 25 young directors from 15 countries travelled across Russia - from Moscow to the Lake Baykal - to find and tell these stories. Six stories - Winter, Women (Love.Love.Love), Vodka, Bears, The Lada cars and The Russian Soul - were screened at more than 50 international festivals and received about 10 prestigious prizes and recognition including Festival del Film Locarno 2014 (Best Short Film), Festival del Film Locarno 2013, 36e Festival du Court Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand 2014, Oslo Screen Festival 2014, 16th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, Sundance 2014 (Special Juri Prize), One Voice International Youth Film Festival 2014 (Best Short Film), City of Winterthur Prize 2013 (Best Short Film), SwissFilm Award 2014 (Best Short Film), Omsk Festival “Movement”, Russia (Best Short Film). The feature was shown at the Film Forum organized by the Russian Youth Centre of Cinematographers.

There are three segments in the forum: the FESTIVAL with its competition and non-competition programmes; THE FILM MARKET with its education platform, workshops, lectures and pitching sessions; and NETWORKING platform where producers and filmmakers can find partners or/and new projects.
