The nominees of the Silver Eye Award are announced

The Award will be handed out for the most creative documentary films from Central and Eastern Europe in three categories: “short”, “mid-length” and “feature” docs. 

Two films from Russia will be presented in the list: «BLOOD» by Alina Rudnitskaya in «mid-length» category and “CHILDREN 404” by Askold Kurov and Pavel Loparev in “feature” category.

Brand new winners will be selected by the international juries comprising of representatives from world’s prominent TV broadcasters, sales companies and film festivals.

Besides the hand-made award by designer Tereza Durdilova and cash prize of EUR 1500, the winners of each category earn a yearlong East Silver Caravan festival assistance, which covers over  106 international film festivals, secured spot at several film markets and recommendation to international broadcasters through a specialized service East Silver TV Focus.
